Luxury Super Car Weekend is one of the most anticipated events of the year for any Vancouver car aficionado.
Two days full of luxury vehicles, bright skies and excited car enthusiasts. The event began with an opening party on Friday evening at Inform Interiors in Gastown. The 50 Water Street location showcases three floors and an outdoor rooftop of the world’s best contemporary furniture and design products. The opening party boasted some of the world’s most luxurious cars on display, beautiful food and enjoyable comradery with fellow industry guests. We had the pleasure of bringing two vehicles to display throughout the evening, the striking Aventador LP 700-3 and our V10 bull the Huracan LP 610.
O’Gara Motorsport finished 1st overall and 1st and 2nd in the Amateur class on Sunday to cap a 10 Podium weekend at Virginia International Raceway for Rounds 4, 5, and 6 of the North American Lamborghini Blancapain Super Trofeo Series. Brothers Ryan and Damon Ockey, racing for Lamborghini Vancouver and Lamborghini Calgary, finished 1st and 2nd in the Amateur class. Driving for O’Gara Motorsport, Edoardo Piscopo led the field from pole for the third time this weekend. As battles for position happened behind him, reigning Super Trofeo Europe and World Final Champion Piscopo quickly pulled away. He built a 13.326-second lead over the next 20 minutes. When the mandatory pit stop window opened, Piscopo handed the car to Antinucci, who continued to keep the pace. Antinucci built a gap of 27.624 seconds under green-flag racing. With just over three minutes to go, the first caution of [...]
Coffee and Cars, a highlight of our summer event calendar, is a casual car meet we hold on the second Saturday of every month from April through to October. We started these events five years ago with the aim of taking advantage of the nice weather and bringing car aficionados together. Owners show off their favourite cars, we supply coffee and pastries, and everybody brings enthusiasm! It has gained a loyal following and we look forward to it every month.
This year we wanted to use the event to give back to the community and decided to partner with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. The GVFB provides training, access to healthy food and education to over 28,000 people each week. Donations peak during the holiday season when the spirit of giving is at the forefront of people’s mind. However, the GVFB experiences sharp declines in [...]
